Job title: Reduction of the effects of the presence of Antibiotics in Water 

Research line / Scientific-technical services: Toxicity of pollutants to micro-organisms and plants

JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: Plant Physiology & Microbiology laboratories. 15:00-19:00

Tasks to be performed: 

Collaboration in the research tasks included in the project related to the WP 3 (Effects of antibiotics on germination and plant growing), 4 (Proof of concept: treated WW can be safely used for irrigation) and the gene expression analysis of WP2 (Study of the toxicity of ABs on microalgae).

Criteria and evaluation of merits:

  1. Academic records. Maximum 5 points

The score will be obtained directly proportional to the grade of the transcript in base 10.

  • Academic record of the degree Biology. Maximum 2,5 points
    • Academic record of master's degree or equivalent related to the Biology. Maximum 2,5 points
  1. Work experience. Maximum 5 points.

iWork experience related toto the tasks assigned in the project: 0.5 points/month.

  1. Publications. Maximum 5 points.

JCR scientific publications related to the tasks assigned in the project: 1 point/paper

  1. Personal interview. Maximum 5 points.

Based on the fulfillment of the requirements and the evaluation of the merits, a prioritized order of the candidates will be established. The candidate with the highest score will be awarded the position. With the rest of the candidates, who have achieved a minimum of 5 points, and respecting the order prioritized by merits, a list of substitutes will be drawn up, which will be used for hiring in case of resignation, dismissal or leave of the selected candidate.
